I don't think so. Just called my insurance company about adding my new horse... it's cheaper because I don't need any tack or anything - as that's the same as with the other policy! No actual discount for having two though... that is our own silly fault!!!!!!

Mmm, I think Petplan do 5% discount for a second horse but I have 6 I'd like to insure and you'd think someone would do a discount!!

Have you asked them direct id they will do it at a better premium because you have more than one horse? We don't automatically offer discounts on our policies BUT if we are asked to it is something we can consider if on the whole the overall risk is a good one. Ask, you don't get anywhere if you don't and you won't lose anything by asking!

im waiting to here back from petplan at the moment, i emailed them regarding insurance for 2 ponies plus my riders insurance, to see if they can do any kind of discount!

il keep you posted!

Is it actually worth insuring 6 when you work out what it costs you?

Well thats what I need to work out tbh..
All but 2 of them are at grass. I have public liability through the BHS so its really just for vets fees...

I'mwith petplan but don't get a reduction for having two. Ipay the same for a mini shet as for I do for Jack!
