I've heard it all now, my insurance company who will remain anonymous, have sent me my first renewal forms through from them. When I first took out insurance with them this time last year I had to list any treatment my horse had had. About 6 years ago he had mild rainscald - just tiny gooey paintbrush scabs through his coat but no actual big patches or anything - got vet out just to check what it was and all cleared up with medicated shampoo and cream - was all gone within a week! The insurance company have now put rainscald as an exclusion on my policy - is that not absolutely ridiculous?!
