Just a quickie...

When a horse has had PSD is one leg, is it normal for insurance to exclude all ligaments AND tendons on both hinds?

TIA

Ok, thanks. It's not so much the fact that both hinds are excluded as that the tendons have also been excluded, but the horse has never had a tendon problem.

I know i think they take it too far but they look at it that the issues could possibley make extra strain for the other working parts of the leg :( Was the same with my mare, she blew her left fore SDFT but they told me they could exclude all ligs and tendons in that leg due to strain :(

No bother. Might be worth getting your vet to do an assessment and them writing to the insurance compnay with their findings, might get only the one leg excluded, not much but might worth it :)
