I have a registered Beagle - 2 years old. Up till now I transfer £30 a month into a seperate account to cover vet bills. I now think I should get him insured as I have had some (unofficial and speculative) warnings and worries about his hips which look like they may cause problems in the future. Who is best to insure him with? I would rather somewhere where i can meet all his needs rather than simply the cheapest.
Thanks

I'm insured with Direct Line - I have a pedigree whippet. They have an advanced policy which covers the animal for life for an ongoing illness / condition. Worth a look. x

We have our arthritic lab with petplan, they pay for her metacam for life, not just for a year, and are good about it.
In saying that..they are expensive enough!

Whichever company you go with, I'd suggest looking for a policy that offers whole of life cover for each condition so that cover doesn't run out at the end of the 12 months.

Have heard good things about Tesco's and M&s insurance. Why not do an internet search with site such as moneysupermarket.com.

Incidentally, E&L, don't go there.

Petplan are about the only ones who do lifetime cover as far as I am aware. I use them and have never had any trouble with claims or anything.......
