I'm struggling to find a quote without making phone calls and completing extensive questionnaires (reasonable but time consuming!) and just wondered if anyone had a recommendation for acquiring insurance as a freelance groom/yard person, please? Are there any companies that you would recommend? It's liability and accident/injury that is needed, I believe, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
The only equine interaction would be bring in, turn out, rugging and grooming. No riding or lunging or any other groundwork will be included here, no training and nothing of that nature. I am mainly looking to do this to pick up ad-hoc jobs (poo picking, mucking out, general grunt work ideal) and being a full-time freelancer anyway in a desk-based role (at home), I want some variety in my days!
Thank you in advance!
