insurance for youngersters

Those with yearlings/2yos. What do you have/pay insurance wise?? Just looking into things as madams is due for renewal is due.

Hi, for my youngsters I have them covered for everything (vets fees etc) except for tack (as there not doing anything)and I have BHS Gold membership which covers Personal Liability.

Im with NFU and they've been great with me and my youngsters.

My 22 mth is insured with petplan (everything exept tack)

My colt/ 16months is insured with petplan took it out online and got free coat but that has vet fees legal liability and trailer on it being 31 per month x

All mine insured with KBIS. I won't do vet fees and just have basic cover (death by illness, accident or disease, theft & straying) third party is through BHS Gold membership and I only cover for £1000 their first year (to recover stud expenses) then up it as they get older. It's about £70 per £1000 like that I think, extra £250 on top for vet fees with £135 excess.

I never got the free coat But I insured ben with PP too

I have two foals with NFU for about £60 but no PLiability or tack I'm joining BHS for the PL.
If you own a 4x4 I'd suggest NFU up till last month I was paying £140 for my car alone now it's £142 for car and two foals all with NFU!!

I'm with SEIB, insured for theft, straying, 3rd party and vets fees on a basic policy - think it's about £15 a month
