I have insurance details coming out of my ears at the moment so sorry to bore some of you.

I've come a little comfused on public liability. I will be moving my horse shortly to a field and he will be sharing with another horse and since my insurance is about to run out I am starting to think I'll need PL.

However would it cover the fact the he is sharing a field and for some reason he damages the property, will the PL cover this?

I'm rather confused at the moment!! But if it does, would it be worth using BHS Gold membership rather than using the current insurers as BHS would be cheaper?

As I understand it - BHS gold membership will give you public liability cover and thus you wouldn't need it on your horse's insurance policy. Works out a lot cheaper too!

not sure it would cover you for your horse damaging the field though, unless the owners were to sue you for your horse causing the damage. I'd call the BHS and ask them about the terms of the gold insurance :)
