I wonder if anyone may be able to give me some information.
I recently notified my insurance company of the potential likelihood of my needing to claim on my ponies policy after he had a vet out to see him. However, my pony has now had some further tests and I am thinking that I possibly will be ok to pay for this vet bill myself as the diagnosis was luckily not bad, and there is no treatment required.
My question is this; As I have notified my insurance company, will they still apply the 12 month rule to the affected area even if I dont actually claim?
Also, if by some bad luck, the area affected eventually needs treatment, be it the same condition or just the same area, is it likely to be covered?
Thanks in advance for your help
