ARGH...ARGH.....ARGH!!! X
My horse is being treated for her suspensory ligment and has been scanned/xrayed/shockwaved and next step is operation.......she is insured with KBIS and generally hear that they are quite good! Fingers crossed!!
I rang vets today to check they had sent the claimform off, which they said they have and that the insurance that requested information on the horses history.....
Well August 2010, i had vet come out for vaccinations and whilst the vet was there, i asked her to watch her trotting up as she had been slightly 'off' since having back shoes on - she'd never had back shoes on before but as she was going to be doing more work i choose to have a full set put on. I told the vet she had been slightly 'off' since having back shoes and she advised to have them removed and get a work-up if she wasn't ok after that. Shoes came off and two days later she was fine!
Now, as thats on her notes, relating to the same leg. Will this affect the insurance?
I dont know how she did her suspensory in either....she just went lame after being in the field.
I know insurance look into everything but horses do have funny moments and they won't say they're not going to pay out becuase of this will they?!
