Gosh not been on here for over a year (when in Oz) now bombarding you all...sorry. I have just renewed my insurance with petplan having got my boy back....but seem very expensive, Any suggestions please? I have 14 days to change my mind.

I've got 2 a horse & a pony. Horse is insured with Amtrust - very pleased - good price for the premium and very quick to pay my claim - small - but paid to vet within 7 days. Pony is insured with NFU - no problems yet so cannot say how good their service is. You only find out when you have to claim!

Just changed my insurance to Amstrust, they offer very good packages with reasonable prices. I really wanted to go with NFU but my girl had a foot abcess due to nail bind in Feb and they wanted to exclude her WHOLE foot which I thought was very harsh. I could have understood exclusion from a foot abcess but all of it was too much so didn't want to chance it.

horse insurance. co.uk gave me a really good quote. half the price of petplan. dont know how good they are at paying out though.
