For riding other peoples horses, who is best to go with?

Or should I just join BHS (gold member) does that cover eveything?

Advice/recomendations/experiances please.

Thank you

I have my rider only cover through NFU.

I did look at the BHS cover but their personal accident cover is very basic and only covers for worse case scenerio i.e. death or total disability. I needed something that would pay out if I was off work with a broken arm for example.

You can still have the BHS cover for third party liability and get your rider only personal accident cover through another company. Just mention that you alraedy have third party cover and they will adjust your premium accordingly. Also NFU cover tack for the horse you ride.

I would go with NFU as it is cheaper than Gold membership, and you get vet fees. But it only works on horses that you don't own.

Ok thank you everyone

I have my own horse insured (just renewed it today) hence my next job is rider only policy.

I'll drop NU a line and get a quote. NU usually come up trumps anyway.

Cheers guys!
