Insurance recomendations

I am looking for insurance for my fingers crossed new horse. Any companies people really like. I am buying a 3yo so one that is happy to put up the value as and when she is broken would be good. haven't insured a horse for many years so any help greatfully received.

I think if you want to increase a horses insurance value you'll have to have a 5 stage vetting at the time, that goes for most insurance companies. I will stand corrected on that though.

I am with NFU and they have been great with 2 high cost claims I have had to make.

Ask your vets who they find easy to deal with and who settles claims easy. NFU and petplan have very good recommendations for this and in my experience have always paid out to date (touch wood !!)

I've been with NFU for years and would recommend them but I'm not sure they are taking on new horse insurance policies?
