Insurance recommendations?

I'm new to this board, having been without a dog for five years since I lost my beloved labrador, Kyra.

Tomorrow, we have a new girl coming to live with us, Leia. I plan to insure her with Petplan, as I have my horses insured with them and have always had excellent service from them.

Is the pet side as good as the Equine - or would you recommend anyone else?

I use Petplan for my 16 year old Whippet and my whippet puppy - I have had to claim on both and they have been very good.
