My insurance is due for renewal soon and i'm looking at who to go with, I had my invitation from current provider which is the same as i paid a year ago. She has exclusions on her legs now so would that not reduce the cost as they aren't included?

If i change to another company is it ok to add loss of use n/ow that she has been diagnosed with DJD and has exclusions, all declared and no claim made, or would it not be counted?

Most insurance companies will only do loss of use with a 5 stage vet certificate (usually dated within 30 days of policy starting)

They will also ask if she has any exclusions on previous policies which legally you will have to declare and they would then most likely be excluded on your new policy

Edited to add, your policy won't be reduced due to exclusions, there is still all manner of things that could be claimed on...colic, ulcers, skin conditions, spine, sacroiliac/pelvic area, eyes, teeth etc etc
