Hi
I have two horses which are insured for death, 3rd party liability and personal injury cover for me. Sometimes I handle other peoples horses to help with problem behaviour and sometimes I have another horse over at the livery yard I am on (not the same one) for a month or so to sort out problems. They are not high value horses due to their problems and the most expensive would value at £2000.
I have been thinking that instead of getting seperate insurance for the horses that BHS Gold membership would cover it. I'm not much of a fan of BHS due to my experience of BHS training centres and BHS II's messing up my horses while on loan but would like to know if anyone has any experience as to whether the insurance provided by the Gold membership is any good (particularly the personal injury area - just in case lol) and as comprehensive as getting it through other such as Petplan.
Also, I often don't do things the BHS way due to these being known problem horses where I am their last resort, so would this cause a problem in event of a claim?
I am not bothered with the death or vets fees areas of it.
so... anyone?
