Insurance without a vetting?

^^^ Ditto that. my girl wasnt vetted either and im with nfu. my insurance is cheaper than other people at the same yard as me and ive got a better deal with my policy

My horse is insured with NFU and although he was vetted, they didn't want to see the certificate. But I think it depends on the price of the horse - if over £5000, they might want to see one.

2 insurance companies I have used wanted vetting cert over a certain value. One wanted one when wanted to put LOU one one of daughters ponies but this was after policy had been in place for year.I wanted it on as daughters pony's value had increased so don't know if they may want one if you want LOU
Others they have insured without vetting (range from £500- £2500)

I didn't have to have a vetting but he's only currently insured for his purchase price which isn't that much. I also don't have him insured for LOU.

NFU was the best deal I could find.
