Insurance?

Just wondering who you think are the best people to insure your horse with.

I need it mainly to cover vet fees and not earning a good wage i need it to be quite cheep. I will be doing 1 and 3DE this year with show jumping and xc as individuals.

Ive got Arch insured with Stoneways. They are fab. I had to claime last year and they paid out straight away and were very very helpful. And the best thing about them is, when you ring up you get straight through to a person! No machines or automated services AND they are English!

Certain vet practices require you to pay up front as though you are not actually insured if you are with them.

Vets who do this aren't considered unreasonable...

are you sure your not muddling them up with E&L?

AmTrust paid my vets directly by BACS straight into their account two days after receiving the invoices, and my vets were very happy with them.

AIMS were cheap with good cover and paid an £800 vet bill promptly and they have horsey staff.
