Hi
Just wondering who is the best insurance company in peoples experience?? I have an 8 month old english mastiff.
 
Both of mine are with Petplan, perhaps not the cheapest but they came recommended on here

They are expensive for greyhounds too - £22 per dog per month, which I think is a lot!

Ummmm - I think people say that Tescos and Marks & Spencer are quite good?

Dont touch E&L with a bargepole though, they are bloody awful

Another vote for petplan from me although we did have our last boxer insured with direct line. They were fab and paid out over £5000 over 4 claims almost straight away, no questions asked. The only reason we didnt go with them this time is they didnt do cover for life and with having a puppy this is what we wanted

Petplan are fab, as a nurse, I would recommend them over all other insurances, everytime, all of our rescues are also covered with petplan

However, if u shop around, make sure, whoever u choose, covers a condition for life, and not just a 12 month period, also if they pay up front as petplan do, otherwise if u have to shell out, u may be out of pocket for a while until your insurance pays up.
 
I'm with m&s and can't fault them so far - had a 2.5k claim last year no probs. Also their helpline was very good when one of my dogs managed to get hold of her pot of painkillers!!!

Both lurchers are £17.99 a month each. they have £7000 vet fees cover and lifetime cover. Not the cheapest but I'm happy with them
