I am insuring a new horse with NFU (as heard very good things about them!) - they want me to send in a copy of the horse's 5 stage vetting certificate from last year. I am not insuring her for vets fees so do i really need to take a copy and send it them?

I think so, you'll be covered for loss of animal so they'll want to know it's not got anything that's likely to cause it to drop dead

I think that if you are insuring the animal for £5000 or more they will need a copy of the vetting, as do most insurance companies.
