Ours is due this month, and I'm thinking of changing companies, as I'm sick of all the silly rules and form filling in - I have to fill in height, age, sex, colour etc on an A4 form for every horse every year! The height, breed, colour, name etc doesn't change! Anyone have a good company that is cheap as well?? Doubt it!! I only insure 3rd party, death and theft for most of them anyway, so why they need a full essay on each horse I don't know!!

I am insured with NFU.
I phoned loads at the time and they were cheapest for me, They have just paid out my vets bills too with absolutely no questions/fuss and have been nothing other than friendly and helpful over the phone.

I would certainly highly recommend them

If you only really want the 3rd party (do you want the death, or are you doing it because you have to?) why don't you just join the BHS for £54? Then every horse you own is covered 3rd party.

No I do want death and theft really. I have a pot of savings for vets bills that we add to. The ponies are covered by PC membership for third party.

Im changing to Am Trust, due to all the recommendations on here. Quote wise, they knocked £30 per month off everyone else too.

For NFU when renewing cars, and other stuff we go through our local branch and I'm sure we don't have to fill in any forms, they phone us or we phone them and they send the completed forms out for us to sign..

I just did a quote with them and they seem very reasonable.You get a lot for your money!
