Hi Guys,
Im just looking for some advice. My 24yo's insurance is due for renewal early next year, I am not sure whether to do it, he is obviously now not covered for much as he is exempt from most vet fees as he is over 20yo. His renewal is over £200 and in actual fact if anything that cost enough that we would actually claim happened I doubt I would put him through it. We can afford general vets costs, he is exempt from colic on the policy anyway. He is retired so doent go out now so doent need his insurance for hacking, the yard has liability cover for anything that happens on the yard anyway.

Would you continue to insure him?
Thanks

If you only want to insure him for Third Party issues rather than vets fees, you should join the BHS on their Gold Membership, I believe it is something like £30-£40 per year and it gives you TP cover. So that would be more cost effective.
