Sorry, boring and overdone subject, but I'm after a company that is easy to deal with online (wanted NFU, but it's difficult for me to make phone calls during office hours) and will let me pick my cover eg vet bills only. Also want someone with a good reputation for dealing with claims (ie not E&L) Are there any that fit the bill? Ideally I wouldn't have to speak to anyone to set up the policy, just tick a few boxes online.

Pretty sure NFU are open till 8pm and weekends (only to take on new customers, not to deal with claims obv!! ;) ).... Also think their local offices are open Saturdays

Sorry don't know any online.

Thanks all - I had a look at petplan, but they only offer the standard package and to make premiums cheaper I only want vet's fees. Will try Scottish Equestrian.

Am getting a quote from KBIS who look to match all I want - has anyone any claims experience from them?

I don't have a claim with KBIS but BH is with them and they did have to call me back after I filled it all in online.

Nits is with Stoneways who are totally online.

I picked both from recommendations on here so hopefully they're both ok!

Bah. KBIS seemed all online. Had exactly what I wanted for a fair price. Clicked the button, then the resulting email said they'd call me regarding payment during office hours!. Nevermind, least it's done. Thanks...!

I've just insured my filly with Kbis.... heard some good reviews about them and they dont try and sell you things you dont need. Very impressed with the customer service offered and they did ring me back once I had filled in the online form, but they were very helpful and I would recommend to anyone!!

Yes, I was quite pleased with KBIS as well - the online thing was just what I wanted, and even though I didn't want to have to deal with a phone call, they left a voicemail this morning, I called back at lunch and just gave payment details - took about 2 minutes.

When I phoned NFU some months back (when my boy was on box rest, and uninsurable) the phone call took about 20 minutes, to get nowhere!
