I'm 14 and I have been offered a job at a local private yard but they can't get me on their insurance (I dont want commemts about how its the yard owners responsability as they really cant insure me) the only way I can have the job is that if I can get my own (I desperately need the job money!!) I am a member of the BHS but they said due to my age there is no policy that we could take out to get me insured. The job would include riding and stable care. If anyone has any advice please help me out

Your parents can take out a riders policy, you are too young to do this yourself, this would cover you for the riding, the yard may have insurance to cover you for the yard work as they will be paying you they require cover for anyone they are employing. I am not sure whether a riding policy would cover you if you are being paid to ride as that makes you an employee rather than just riding for pleasure, your parents would need to check, there are plenty of insurance companies offering this type of policy.
