Is insureyourhorse.co.uk the E&L Group does anyone know.

Can anyone offer any advice on equine insurers - preferably high excess. Pet Plan have stopped doing this apparently.

Not keen on them either but someone on here posted recently that either insureyourhorse.co.uk or insuremyhorse.co.uk were E&L in disguise.

No def not i have just insured with them different address from e and l .My horse is insured with e and l but my daughters new one is with inuremyhorse. There are three categories one is £95 excess then £125 then £500 ..The second catagory seems the best £5000 vets fees and mine cost £27 per month .Its cheaper for 2 horses but as my boy has been a big liability they might not take him on my friend has done her two horses for £38 per month.Hope that helps

Might have misread your post insuremy horse are the company I was referring to sorry to confuse very misleading. Now going off to check the other one

www.insureyourhorse.co.uk takes you to Equestrian Direct Horse Insurance Ltd.
I was told they were not associated with E & L ... I rang them and asked!!!
In fact, they were a bit put out that I thought they were.

I will be disappointed if I find out otherwise

I was just going to say but Quirky got there first. Neither of these companies have any connection to THAT company insureYOURhorse are Equestrian Direct and insureMYhorse are as Cellie said!

Equestrian Direct are not related to E&L as has been said, but I thought I'd add that they couldn't be further from them as Equestrian Direct offer an excellent service and I have insured both my horses with this reputable company

www.insureyourhorse.co.uk are most definately NOT E & L!! They used to be Bankers Equine Direct / Equestrian Direct but are now known as AmTrust. They are superb, I have had all my horses insured with them for several years now and our Veterinary Practice finds them really easy to deal with and they actually pay up!
