OK so I am considering having 4 days - 1 weeks intensive training with my mare and myself at a SJ or eventers yard.

I am looking for someone that will help me establish 1 - the flatwork we need to be doing to improve her 2 - how to improve her confidence and forwardness jumping. Do any of you know someone that may be able to help with this?

I have a very backwards thinking warmblood with a lot of talent that needs to be shown the ropes as such.

If you think i'd need to get someone else to school her for this time then again please recommend. I am really open to suggestions

The other thing is do you think its jumping she needs help with or flat work? As you cant jump well without establishing good flatwork. Can you get to some grid clinics as they will help you alot? What does she do that you are not happy with. I might be able to sugget some people as Im in east sussex

Her problem is she is not very forward thinking sometimes and when she is like this it is hard to get her enthusiastic and jumping. When she has that bit of spark she's like a time bomb abd you feel she could take on anything. So I think we need a bit of both really? I know we need her more responsive for when she is having a flat day.

She does however have a lovely vertical rear that comes in to play when she's pushed too far or generally not happy. We do seem to have overcome this, however it does still put in an appearance like at Ardingly XC when there was too much going on.

ken spencer, improved my horses jumping 100% including getting it to go forward! is also very good on the flat and he's only in coneyhurst. pm me if you want his number x

We're based at Thundry Farm and they do clinics. Corinne Bracken is usually there a couple of times a week for jumping and Lizzie Murray comes for flatwork. The YO is very accomplished and can help with flatwork and jumping too.
Website is www.thundry.co.uk
I can thoroughly recommend it!

Paul Crago is fab on both the flat & jumping, he's worked wonders for us anyway!! Might be too far for you, PM me if you want his number.

Sorry forgot to add the answer to your actual question, he's in Pangbourne, Berkshire. Suppose about 10mins from Junction 12 M4. Hope that helps, PM me if you want more info or his number.
