Interesting Aubiose...

One large feed place near me has run out of Aubiose, another place has been sent some by their bulk supplier but it arrived in clear plastic bales, much more densely packed within the bales and with no Aubiose branding on the wrapping whatsoever. They rang their supplier in the UK to confirm that it is Aubiose and they said yes though the people I buy from feel it looks different. As I was so short of bedding (and 2 places round here had no Hunters shavings or other bedding I like either) I took a bale and they asked me to let them know what I think. Without a doubt it is the same stuff (hemp?) that Aubiose is made of but just with a much coarser cut/chop than normal Aubiose which is quite soft really. Just wondered if anyone else in the country has experienced this with Aubiose recently?

Every bag of Aubiose I buy seems to be different, in general it's much more loosely packed than it has been in the past so I don't tend to buy much anymore - textures are often different between bags but I have never seen it sold unbranded

Why would they sell it unbranded? Don't make sence
