Interesting day with the Four Shires today!!

Well today has not really gone to plan!! mum had to come through Sheffield so we thought she may as well pick me up on the way... we were meant to meet in the Wicks car park which was all well and good - apart from we went to two different Wicks!

We really need to work on our communication!!

So we were re-united and off we went, got to the petrol station and realised I didn't have my purse!! No!! So OH had to come out with some money for me. We still had plenty of time... or so we thought.. took us ages to find it, we got there at bang on 12 and they had gone!!

After banging round the roads for miles we eventually caught up with them at there half way port stop - yay! It was really good fun and the boys were fab (apart from Caffrey was loopy for some reason and I had no brakes

) so all was good in the end!

Sorry if I'm boring, just thought I'd share my day! I would recommended 4 shires it was great!

So, where there plenty of breathers or were you galloping for 30 minutes at a time before stopping?

If there aren't regular slow sections, I fear that myself or Patches might just die.

I think you'd have liked it actually, can't comment on the first halve but second half was lots of nice bit walls, and the field reduced to about 5 pretty quick - and no kids!

The bit we did was pretty steady TBH. I think you'd be fine as long as she is fit.

We got more knackered trying to catch up!

There seemed to be plenty of non jumping people too and they were really friendly.

Horsey is pretty fit, but I'm not sure how fit is fit enough when it comes to that type of thing.

I think they probably have to hunt to get hunting fit - if that makes sense!! It's not like you have to stay out all day up at the front. Just take her, see how she feels and play it by here!
