My old brood mare does those hair swishes, love the term nose pirouettes. Even when excited (rarely) have never seen her buck or rear. Usual default is a canter swinging her head.

One of my arabs would lower his croup and do a perfect piaffe if something got him excited while he was tied up. He pretended complete ignorance of the move when under saddle though.
