Interesting - Miner's Frolic entered for Burghley

I guess given he's not completed a 4* is makes sense before the WEG. Looks a good field so far though

He went well at Luhmuhlen 4* last year when it caused so much trouble. I guess it's an insurance in case there is a problem at Hartpury.

Ohh didn't know he went to Luhmulen. Is Hartpury the final team trial?

Most seem to be entered although the team has been picked. They need to show they are in form to stay on the team and there aren't many more high level classes before they go.

You'll find that many top riders will enter the big events as a back up plan, and then nearer the time they'll w/d. I doubt if Miners Frolic is going to WEG that he'll start at Burghley.
