Very interesting! Worth noting that a CT myelogram is currently ~£3.5k, and that's without the work up needed beforehand in an ideal world everyone would be able to do it, but it's not the cheapest of procedures.

interesting you should say that, a head shaker at a yard I was on turned out to have a large tumour in the sinus cavity found on a CT scan, it was removed and the horse went back to full work no longer headshaking.

Not all. We had a CT scan on ours years ago and nothing was found.

Nothing was found on mine either, but it does make you wonder a little how many headshalers would have a visible issue on CT.

My old gal had trigeminal nerve headshaking. In the end she couldn't even be led in hand safely because it got so bad. Her head was just ruling her body. Poor old lass. I had to say goodbye to her, she was only 10.
