Interesting updated dog food Index

My dog always did really well on wainwrights. Moved her to the grain free which is supposed to be even better, but it made her quite ill. Shes an old bird now, and can only really tolerate chicken and rice at the moment :(

Ours look great on wainwrights too, so pleased to see it scored reasonably, and pretty well considering the price :)

My wainwrights scores all right, the wagg she was on at the breeders doesn't though :(

Wagg is atrocious, on a par with Bakers, just without the sugar. It contains BHT and BHA, known carcinogenics. Horrible stuff. I'm amazed that stuff like a Pedigree sells so well, marketing is clearly working, it's as bad as Wagg and Bakers.

Just read some reviews, what a fab updated site, it really tells the truth, at last! Hopefully people will finally click on about great marketing not equalling great food!

Very interesting- looking into food as just picked up our lab puppy, what's interesting is the 5/5 scorers all have high protein levels and I have been advised that this isn't what is wanted as they grow too quickly and then get issues with joints etc.
The food I'm currently using from breeder sits middle of the road on the scale so I think I'll stick with that for now.
