or at least I thought so.

Sorry, some of you may of already come across this before and before anyone reports me, no I'm not advertising.

I just feel it is a very interesting read and shows some good photos and examples of foot confirmation corrective shoeing.

Its really good and interesting, those poor poor horses though god how could you let their feet get in that state. They do an awesome job of sorting them out as well. Although i didn't understand the commentary so much, would have liked a more legible and comprehensive explanation of what they did. And i also have no idea how some of those massive blocks etc stay attached to their feet!

As a barefooter I think most of the "remedial shoeing" is almost as disgusting as the "beforehand" pictures. Some of it is also misleading. There is a picture of a horse on there "damaged" by natural balance shoeing. Actually, you can clearly see that the horse has a lamellar wedge on the front of its foot, usually caused by chronic laminitic issues and almost certainly NOT caused by the natural balance shoes, which are set to maximise breakover just as they should be in a horse with that problem.

Take a look in the catalog - what a revolting array of shoes that look to me like instruments of torture!

Might have to send some of those pics from the gallery to my farrier. He was wondering the other day how he could attach springs to my horse's feet and give me a little lever to make him jump higher

I think he might have been joking though.....

Some seriously weird looking shoes there!

I had a quick look at that, I thought they were designs meant as a joke, not actual real shoes

Hmm! I hate any form of "Wedges" on feet, I think time out with no shoes and good trimming can often do low heeled horses the world of good...

I can't quite believe it either - does anyone know if those shoes in the catalogue are a joke? Or are they for real???
