Intermittent lameness/falling over

Update***
Two years almost to the day and I have reached the decision and put the poor lad to sleep. He still had quality of life but better a day too soon than a day too late. Gutted, heartbroken but still feel it was the right thing and the right time :'(

I've just read through your thread from the beginning and it must have been heartbreaking to get that diagnosis. As the owner of 2 with 'issues' I understand the sleepless nights you will have had. Big hugs today and hold onto those memories of him enjoying life in the field xx

Thats what I keep telling myself. A lot wouldnt. He had been passed from pillar to post with everyone selling him on at the first sign of trouble so at least I can say the buck stopped with me. Took the trouble to diagnose him and vowed he would have as much as I could give him and never a bad home again. Kept my promise, saw through my responsibility right to the end, despite how hard it was :(

So sorry you had to call it a day, but I think you have done the right thing, very hard decision to make so well done and sending you a hug x
