My pony is currently intermittently lame, the leg seems to vary, it started as his off hind, now currently off fore but has been near fore and near hind, seems to depend on the day and even what direction I'm trotting him up!
Sometimes he is almost hopping, sometimes it's 2/10 at most and then other times completely sound, normaly when I've got the vet up! Vet can't find any perticular sensitivity in any foot, farrier can't either. There is no heat or swelling in any leg.
Horse is shod allround. I'd like him barefoot but he has very weak feet and he also paws at the ground so if he doesn't have fronts on at least then he ends up wearing the front outside edge and all his toe off and crippling himself!
Any ideas? Am really struggling as when I call vet up he seems to go magically sound!
