Internal stables - what company?

Hoping to install 4 new 12x12 internal stables in our barn soon

we like the curved front design with regular swing doors

can anyone recommend great companies to get quotes from?

so far I’ve contacted monarch, loddon, stables online and Hancox. Quotes so far from £5-8k YIKES!!

any thoughts or advice on internal stables generally, also much appreciated

Get the plastic boards. They last better than wooden ones, stay looking good and do not break when kicked.

I do not have the bow fronted stable but have splashed out on IAE ones and would reccomend them. Pricey but worth every penny.

Look up your local fabrication work shop you might fall lucky as work will be in short supply at the moment .

For looks I would choose Monarch.

I have had Stables Online plastic internal stables, they were great company to deal with and very practical, just not so quite nice to look at.

Work had Loddon ones, I was there for 20 years and they looked pretty much the same when I left as when I arrived.

Have a look online, you may find some 2nd hand at a fraction of the price if you aren’t worried about not having them brand new.

Look up Tailored Equine , based in Tarporley Cheshire . They did a bespoke job for us On our wash bay and it’s fab .

If price needs to be keen I've seem some lovely arrangements with 14ft gates and thick marine ply cable tied to them - cheap and flexible.

If it's definitely permanent then look at block construction too as an alternative. Much cheaper.

That is a good idea. We needed 14ft x 11ft and none of the companies we contacted were interested in quoting so OH built them in steel and wood. He has had to redo some of the welding.

I have secondhand Loddon with hardwood and they are very heavy.
