Hello Group

I am looking to gain some information on moving to the UK. I am an Italian International ShowJumping Rider and my fiancé is an ex jumping jockey and horse racing trainer. At the moment we are located in Italy, but we would like to move our stable to the UK, preferably close to newmarket or Ireland. We would like to have some information on the way UK works in terms of renting equestrian facilities to international individuals (in this case, Italian), if there are any questrian facilities available, and how does it work legally.
This is the same for racing - I have race horses, however I'd like to know the regulations in the UK, how can I bring them overseas, do I have to have a trainer immediately, or I can move first to the UK and then search for a trainer? Is it better to first stay at the race course (her in Italy it works in this way: most race horses are located at the race course San Siro, and they exercise there.)

If there is any race horse expert and someone who knows how to find equestrian facilities to rent please let me know

Thank you!

I’d suggest you contact weatherbys for the racehorses.

as for a showjumping yard etc, try searching for a specialist uk horsey estate agent and email them for advice

Agree with contacting Weatherbys about racing.

You can have a racehorse at home, because some owners take their horses home during the summer (winter jumping horses) and don't leave them with the trainer. There are trainers all over the country and racecourses all over the country, so in the UK racehorses are not trained at the racecourse but are travelled on race days and return home after the race..

I don't know about the legal matters about renting a property if you are from another country - now thanks to Brexit will you need a visa? I don't know. However, yards to rent are often advertised, often in Horse and Hound magazine.
