She is as they say full of "piss and vinegar".
Would love a standard but I haven't really got the space for one. Plus I don't have time to maintain that much coat
even a Mini's coat will be a large undertaking. Especially since I have my other mini - who is verging on the size of standard anyway -- his coat is being kept longer for grooming comps so the two of them shall keep me rather busy.

I remember you saying how much you love standards which is why I made the assumption, hope Alice will forgive me. I am far too lazy to deal with all that coat, although I suppose the plus is I wouldn't be sitting surrounded by tumbleweed from 2 moulting GSDs.

Well - I spend a disproportionate amount of time hoovering up after a border terrier - so I imagine that your clean up time for two GSDs is about what I spend on grooming a couple of poodles? LOL
Just now she's only wee, a dunk in the sink, easy dry and FFT clipped so takes maybe 30 min. The bigger boy takes an hour just for the bath/dry and FFT. I could be easily 2 hrs scissoring if I get carried away....
