You've been given some great advice but tbh I found the initial introductions a real non-event, the real challenge came when he started crawling. It was then that the utility room became a child free escape zone for the dogs and the dogs were banned from upstairs so he could crawl around there without me having to be on high alert lol. Play pens are a life saver too, and after baby gets to a stage where he starts to actually do what you say (instead of having to be physically removed from the dogs water bowl every 30 seconds aargghh!) it's plain sailing
