Introducing a baby to my dogs. Tips, please.

You've been given some great advice but tbh I found the initial introductions a real non-event, the real challenge came when he started crawling. It was then that the utility room became a child free escape zone for the dogs and the dogs were banned from upstairs so he could crawl around there without me having to be on high alert lol. Play pens are a life saver too, and after baby gets to a stage where he starts to actually do what you say (instead of having to be physically removed from the dogs water bowl every 30 seconds aargghh!) it's plain sailing :)

LMAO, my son thinks the dogs water is his own private paddling pool!!!

he even eats like the dog now! and the dog usually avoids him at all costs,
but they soon become great friends when your child gets into his highchair and spreads the floor with tasty titbits.

So true - my dogs now know the command to "hoover" after toddler meals :D and my son can get the JRT to sit and walk to heel for treats (he is 2 and a half!!)

lol, i couldnt believe it when the boy started feeding her (very discreetly) at about 6 months. every time they got caught both the boy and the dogs faces were the same 'oh ***'

probably the funniest is when he was in his walker and hed zoom about and the terrier would attack the wheels.

dogs and children can be hours of entertainment.
