My boy is currently fed SS Metaslim with sugarbeet all year round and ad lib haylage in his stable (stabled at night out during the day).
He likes the Equilibrium Vitamunch which are blocks of compressed grass with various other plants in them. However Simple System do their own versions which would work out cheaper in the Luciebrix and Meadowbrix.
He hasn't had Lucerne since 2008/9 aside from one Luicebrix a few weeks ago - we must've been given one as a sample and YO pulled it out of the feed room. Happy with his feet but he can come out in hives in the summer which I've always attributed to fly bites. In 2012 he was ridiculously itchy.
The Luciebrix have a better nutritional content than the Meadowbrix. I'm merely feeding them as something else to do in his stable. Which would you recommend I go for?
