Although i've introduced the horses on here, i've not introduced the dogs yet.

I have 2 golden retrievers and a cocker spaniel.

So...

Awww, I LOVE Golden Retrievers (had a puppy when I was five!), they have the sweetest faces, they are very very gorgeous! Finn looks like a little dude too, lovely shaped head.... lucky you!!

What lovely dogs you have. I love retrievers but aren't sure I could cope with the shedding.

Finn has a long tail for a docked cocker, but I'm getting the impression that's a more "normal" length dock these days.

He's lovely. You can see he's full of mischief and tell he's a working strain from his head. I just adore spaniels.

Patches - the shedding is a downside - everything in out house is covered in their hair. I just say thats why its called "fur"niture!!
Most of my friends/family don't mind luckily - though my MIL isn't too keen.
He does have a long docked tail this is the length his breeder has all his working dogs done. He says its perfectly adequate to stop them getting caught up.

Vicky - if you stole them i'm sure you'd fetch them back quickly - they're all mad as hatters!!

I really like it, the tail length. I think the user Spaniel's new pup has the same length dock too.

Harvey has a full tail. I would've loved a docked one this time as Jasper, my old cocker, had "wagtail" issues and required surgery to remove the end of his tail at the age of 2. I wanted to avoid that, but couldn't find any workers that weren't black or gold. Jasper was a black cocker and I just fancied a change this time.
