He's a beauty! Great lines there including my favourite 'Parc welsh flyer' ... I have a 'Parc' boy myself. Good luck with the showing. Are you planning on local showing or Welsh medal shows?

Thanks for all the lovely comments guys!!

cambrica id love to do welsh medal shows i was looking earlier and theres one on 1st april. im just worried i dont have enough experience showing his type. I ahve a sec D mare at moment but ive only done ridden showing with her and my last youngster was a show hunter type so completly diffferent for showing in hand.
any tips any1 for welsh medal shows with 2yr old colts!! dont want to be out of my depth.

If its the NWAWPCA bronze medal show I think you will be fine for your first show. If you go with the mind set that your there purely to give him experience then anything else is a bonus. Personally, I did just that but because I want him as a riding cob (showed as a 3yo) I was told by the judges and others that for inhand showing I would need to put a serious amount of 'condition' on him. At that point he was the perfect weight for his age/size. Obesity is basically what they were asking for.
2/3 y/o colts & stallion classes are probably the most intimidating but if your up north it is probably more 'sane' than the London area. Go for the fun but if you want a ridden cob bear in mind that an inhand cob is a totally different animal.

Yeah its the NWAWPCS one at south veiw 1st April was thinking of going there for some experience and then there's LWCPS medal show on 5th may at bold Heath so doing that too. Didn't realise about the ridden cob/ in hand cob difference will have to see how he goes. I'm a little bit scared about being run over by big charging sec D stallions hehe!! X
