I would like to introduce you all to Joe who is going to help me get my confidence back :)

I am back in the pony club lol as he is 13.2 and is 7 years old but is so laid back. He is with me on a 2 week trial and today is a week since he arrived. I have ridden him out every day and so far so good!!

Aw he is GORGEOUS! I wish I was small enough to ride ponies.

He arrived last Sunday afternoon, walked off the trailer and straight into his paddock, neighd at my minis and then ate! :D
Monday - I walked him out in hand down to the beach. He is such star, like he had been with me and walked that road all his life.
Tuesday - I got on him and hacked him down to the beach with my friend on foot.
Wednesday - we did the same but with mum on foot.
Thursday - we went round the block which is a couple of miles with mum on foot and he was a star seeing as he had never been that way before :)
Friday - my friend hacked over to meet us on her fresian and we hacked round the block together.
Yesterday - we hacked round the block with my other friend on foot.
TODAY....... We hacked by our selves to the beach and went that little bit further as he was a star! :D

So far so good with him and I don't think he is going to change.

For me to hack alone is a big step as I have completely lost my confidence so I am really pleased with him and myself!! :D :D :D :D
 
That's awesome. He is beautiful and who doesn't love a safe, sane pony. I have a 13.2hh Welsh C who was my first pony when i was 10 and tiny and is still with me 11 years later and even though i am 5'7ft. Ponies are seriously underrated, I can still jump, hack, cross country and school to ours heart content. He is still happy as Larry.

I hope you and Joe have many years of safe fun and your confidence is fully restored very soon, he certainly looks a good sort.

I am also very jealous you can hack to a beach. Must be amazing!
 
What a great first week you've had with him! Good luck for this week (not that you need it :)) and for the future with the lovely Joe.
