Hello everyone. I'm the mum of an 11 year old girl who is very shy around people but adores horses and riding. We're at the stage of looking for a horse to buy for her and I am feeling well out of my depth! I've been reading a lot of threads on this forum and hoping that I can gather some advice and expertise over the next wee while.
 
You've come to the right place, and in very good time, not after you've already made mistakes.

The first bit of advice is whatever you buy have it vetted and ask on here if you need to for vet recommendations, don't have the pony vetted by a vet recommended by the seller.
