Ok, I have finally got round to taking some pics of my little horse so am now going to try adding photos. Showing people, please don't look too closely at my plaits, they will make your eyes bleed.:D

His Dad is a Belgian bred arab and his Mum is a mixture of selle francais/anglo arab (Ibrahim in there somewhere for those who know about these things).

When he first arrived in Jan 09 at 5 years old, I always think he looks a bit perturbed in this one:-

Last weekend, looking a bit thinner and more pro (I hope):-

Having a nosy from the back of the lorry:-

I've tried really hard to look at those plait so I could pull them to bits (joking of course) but all I see is little red crosses :D

Your pictures don't work I'm afraid

Vallin, you are obviously a computer genius. What did you do?

Ginger_nut, thank you. He's currently jumping 90cm/1m classes with OH (he is experienced, I'm not!) and doing ok. His Mum was a good jumper (1.5m)and he has a good technique but well, we'll just see how he goes.

I will make my debut on him in VERY novice dressage this summer if all goes to plan.

The real plan is to event with him. OH will start him in 90cm this year and then hopefully, I'll start next year - at 60 cm probably :D

Ha ha, just noticed OH's mare poking her nose in from the back of the lorry.

I guess I'm introducing her too, she's a reall sweetie :)

Well, thank you for your assistance Vallin, I have seen the error of my ways and can now negotiate my way around the finer points of the photobucket system . :)

Just noticed how shocking his feet are in the first pic, I had only had him a week or so honest :o

Thank you for your nice comments.

Not such a kind face when you've got to spray some antiseptic on his "battle" wound though as I have just experienced :p

He's a good guy, I'm really chuffed with him. A genuinely nice horse - a complete oaf (ask my toes) but not aggresive in the slightest.

Oh i love him, what a handsome chap! No problem with your plaits (apart from being on the wrong side) I'd be proud of my efforts if I were you. Good luck with him, lots of fun to be had I think. x

He is gorgeous and reminded me of a pony who Blue Peter bought for RDA, Rags. Anyone remember him? (Or her?) Wishing you both a happy life together x

He's 158cm (15.2 I think?). He's a bit of an all rounder really. I'm hoping to event on him, he'll start with OH this year at 90cm. He's going well with jumping but he's great at dressage, just because he'll do anything for a treat really. He's not a real scopey horse but to be honest, I think my ambitions (do lots of stuff - competetions, hacking, whatever, not aiming for the Olympics though) and his ability are quite well matched.

Archiesmummy - Rags! Yes, I do remember. Was the Simon Groom and Goldie era I think. Fantastic, that was the best bit of Blue Peter for me, better than watching Peter Duncan making a flamin Sindy bed. :D

Angelbones - Thank you for your "plaiting politeness", good thing it's not zoomed in more, you would be able to see the elastic bands :D
