There might be some firmer souls out there who can go view puppies just to get to meet the breed, but I am not one of them! Meet Halfy, 12 week old Tibetan Terrier! She is a wee older than I would like in an ideal world, but she came from a household full of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and children, so she is very chilled with the important stuff! I have to dust off my clicker now! :D

The breed seems to be everything we'd hoped for, she's super happy with MiniBoo and very chilled with the other dogs and horses (OK the cat hissed at her and moved to the garden, but that's hardly the puppy's fault!). She slept through the night (never known a puppy to do this) and is house trained...but doesn't know her name and her recall is dodgy, so loads to work on already!

Gorgeous , had a feeling this might be the outcome from your previous post.:D There is a TT pup at the training class I take Freya too, lovely little dog and very outgoing and friendly. Look forward to the updates.
 
blackcob: I had been thinking about it for a while. I was extremely tempted by MM's litter, but managed to keep my mouth completely shut, then went to visit an Australian Shepherd breeder but decided the breed was a bit too active for us at the moment, and then it was bound to happen! The breeder had done all health screening though, I am not entirely mad!

MM: turns out the only one who did not see this coming was the OH!!! He was very surprised that we came back with a pup, but he has reconcilled himself to it all now!

You DO look pleased! I quite like Tibbies that come in to see me. I've *borrowed* one to take away to grooming comps and he had to come live with me for a weekend or two. They can be such characters.

Meanwhile, I think a third dog is possibly on the cards for me and my hubby - he's either well trained (hubby that is) or has recognised that our BT is ageing and we *need* a third dog now soonish than wait til we lose the BT (or wait til he's too old to introduce another younger dog) to have as a companion for the poodle. But my heart isn't in it at the moment because I know that when the BT goes, as much as I adore the poodle, I'll be absolutely inconsolable when the terrier goes. So I'm doing my own bit of research in the mean time and considering a few breeds...but not ready just yet!
 
Thank you everyone! I am finding I have less time for HHO at the moment as I have my hands full!!!

PucciNPoni: I can see why a TT would come handy at a grooming competition! You'll know when the time is right for another dog, sometimes you need a bit of quiet time when all the dogs are nicely trained and settled, and sometimes you need puppy chaos!
