So having sadly lost 2 of my girls before christmas is was very quiet and the remaining piggies weren't really a pair, got on fine but not to particularly spend time with each other. I hadn't really decided what to do as I was a bit worried about stressing the older (6) girl Millie out too much. So I resolved to follow a few more pages and see if anything I particularly liked came up, maybe wait till they were out in the shed with a bit more space. Well that took about 10 days 🤣, and taming probably is easier with them inside next to the fridge.

I have a cake theme 🤣 so this is Madeleine and Truffle, 14 week texel sisters. Fairly bold considering and definitely good eaters!

Bonding on Saturday was thankfully pretty uneventful, having only had bad experiences previously, partly why I stuck with babies. Most worried about Millie as she has been the aggressor previously but apparently she decided granny was a perfect role to take!

Flossie (sheep pig), always a bit weird wasn't really sure what to do, and once they were back in their proper accommodation was a bit sharp with them but seems to have settled.

Awe, new piggies 😍
They have the hairstyle that I was often trying for the 90s but generally failed to achieve.

They look like they have really different shaped faces though for sisters...or is it just the camera angle and colouring?

I think its a little bit the difference in their natural head positions but madeleine is more sticky outy, probably the more correct, also prefers chin rubs. Camera angle quite rough as didn't entirely trust them not to attempt to shoot off the table 🤣. I tried to take pics on my lap tonight but truffle is the wrong colour for black jods!

Oh what a lovely collection of piggies, with some really pretty colours 😍

I bet you get lots of wheeking when they sense food is coming, I used to have them when I was a child (shock horror kept with some of our bunnies which I know is bad now!)

Would love a wheeking video if you get a chance theyre so vocal

They have indeed already worked out where the fridge is and the sounds of the chopping board 😅.

Millie doesn’t bother to shout much these days she knows she gets special personal treats but Flossie is the loudest pig alive, she likes to stand on top of a simple systems forage block and scream at me. She has however lost forage block privileges for guarding it from everyone else 🙄

Oh I do miss the wheeking when the vegetable drawer opened!
