Ok its been a few years since i have done intros with song and am looking to do a few with goggles after he has been to pony club camp (kill or cure!) so....

what are -

West wilts
Berrington &
Aston le Walls

like?? Maybe one of the 1st 2 as our first then aston as the second??

thanks xx

Aston le Walls is great, the xc is very straightforward and the ground is always well prepared. There are usually 2 water crossings but they're not that nasty! The sj does have some 'atmosphere' but is generally a very fair course. Good luck!

I don't like to say it as Berrington is a nice one of my 'locals' but I think WW always sounds easier, alot of friends say so. Also at Berrington they struggle to prepare the ground greatly as its a National Trust place and they can't do too much. At Berrington you also have the lake with all of its wildlife to deal with in the dressage!! However I do love going to Berrington as everyone is really friendly and its in a lovely setting infront of that huge house, am hoping to go there myself this time.

Berrington is a lovely event, really quiet and friendly, ground wasn't too bad last year but they hadn't marked the course out with string so it was quite unclear where you were going, there is also the enormous hill! Have fond memories of there as it was the first place the lady I groom for won!
It always seems to rain when we go to Aston-le-Walls, so the ground is never bad! The last two times we've been, there has been a bit of a hack over to the dressage past the XC course so horses can get a bit lit up!
