I've decided that Missy needs to get out and do some eventing so I can get maximum £££ for her, she's a total star and will have a go at anything she's pointed at but I'm a total coward when it comes to xc, I hate it with a vengance so I need to find some events in the midlands with xc courses that even a coward like me could get around

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I went round it clear too on my IDxTB at my very first event

Shame about the 52 dressage mind you

Broadway is a nice easy Intro as well

That was my first thought but I'd rather avoid it if I can, I'd rather not have anything to do with that hell hole if I can help it

I will be planning this too for my new horse as I doubt I will have it in time to do one this year! Would want to go to PN straight away but being younger I have to do 3 intros!

The advantage is that I know the course well but I'm just not too hot on the idea of competing there again, one reason being because the dr warm up was horrific this year which really put me off.

LPR I dont think you do need to do the Intros first now....?!! A 16 yr old on our yard certainly didnt and prob needed too!

No - but you know that chestnut I showed the other day? I spoke to owner for a long time and he sounds really nice! I have been sent xc, sjing and dressage videos and he actually looks like a nice little horse! Off to see him on Weds!

Not sure which one you're based at - MK or Keysoe maybe?
IMO Keysoe is an easy Intro and when I've been the warm-up areas have been fine.
MK isn't quite as straightforward XC but still a nice flowing course. Warm-up for dressage not always as good though - is this the one you're referring to?
Carlton was new this year and that was quite a nice Intro course, the water caught out a few though and I think they're going to do some work on making it more inviting for next year.
