I have just had an e-mail from someone wanting to use a grey Terv I bred, on their Inuit bitch - you can guess my answer ! - I know that several folk on here have this 'breed' - can anyone tell me if this is something commonly done ?

Eak, sure the breed club will want to know the details of the "breeder".

Not anywhere near as "up" on them as Severnmiles but I htink all pups are sold with non breeding contracts that can be amended later by the breed club and they are very carefull about what is being breed.
Pretty sure if they know they will refuse to register any pups if this woman finds a BSD to use.

No chance they'd be able to be registered! And TBH I have seen a cross with a GSD which were unregistered and unsaleable pups and they weren't very good looking dogs

Definitely not something thats 'done', no new lines from GSD/Husky/Mal have been 'knowingly' introduced to the breed for some time.

Why spoil the Terv's siring potential and the Inuits breeding potential?

I just saw an advertisement on another foum....GSD for stud, not neccesarily to another GSD he is not picky when it comes to doing the deed.....thats is what the ad actually states
