inverted teats?? and boxwalking!!

wonder if anyone can reassure me :) i have a maiden mare who is 331 days. she has wintered out but is now stabled on a night time. prior to this her teats and bag were small and looked just like they did before being pregnant. since coming in there is some swelling but my feeling is that its more like odema type swelling rather than bagging up as her teats are now no where to be seen!! should i be worried or is this perfectly normal? my last mare to foal looked like a milk cow 1 month before she foaled!!! is she likely to bag up properly at the moment i am not on night watch do you think i should be?
she also box walks - not terribly and not in a stressed manner but am a little concerned about this once she foals do you think she'll settle once the baby arrives or will she be stepping over him/her whilst she walses around?

It is likely that her teats will pop out once her bag is full up.....as she is a maiden she may well not bag up hugely. If you are worried just ask your vet for some reassurance.

Re:the boxwalking. I had a mare that was an AWFUL box walker....was better if she was in a stable where she could touch noses with other horses but otherwise galloped around her box....once born and she had baby in her stable with her she never did it at all as she had had baby to focus on and be reassured by!
